New College Leicester Opening

With many ties to the city of Leicester, Rory was honoured to be asked to attend and officially open the new tennis/netball courts at New College Leicester.

Along with the Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner, Lord Willy Bach, Rory was joined by staff and students from New College Leicester to open the courts. Rory said ‘Having seen first-hand what New College Leicester have achieved through their Sport and Physical Activity Strategy I am pleased to be supporting them in the opening of their new tennis and netball courts. I admire the way in which New College Leicester prioritise Sport and Physical Education and making it an everyday option is a great way of helping release the pressure on young people which will ultimately help with their learning.”
